La Casa ENMU Student Health Services is here to help you maintain a positive, healthy lifestyle, which contributes to your academic success. Your student activity fees fund La Casa ENMU Student Health Services and 100% of our budget is used to deliver quality health care to you.
To use our services feel free to walk in or make an appointment. To make an appointment, call 575.562.2321. Since our services are for current ENMU students, you must show an ENMU student ID with a current activity sticker. If you do not have a current activity sticker on your ENMU ID you can get one at the cashier's window in the Administration Building (AD).
Our Location
We are located in Curry Hall (CH) on the north side of campus, directly across from the Administration Building (AD) on S Ave K.
Preventative and Acute Healthcare Services
ENMU Health Services offers preventive and acute health services, similar to your family health care clinic, at little or no cost to students with a current ENMU student ID.
In addition to flu shots, blood tests, prescriptions, and other medical services, we make health awareness presentations to student groups. We also provide family planning services, pap smears, STI (sexually transmitted infection) screening and treatment, and contraception products. As with any medical clinic, we assure complete confidentiality.

Immunizations
The meningitis vaccine (Menectra) is strongly recommended for first-time students who will be living in dorms or in-group living facilities. Two doses of the MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccine are needed to protect students from these very contagious diseases. We also recommend an annual influenza vaccine. You don't want to be a victim of the fall semester finals week flu or start your spring semester sick.
Student Health Insurance
Insured ENMU students: insured students will be required to present their insurance/Medicaid/Medicare card at the time of service. La Casa will file insurance claims for payment and co-pays are paid by ENMU.
Uninsured ENMU students: La Casa will help uninsured students enroll in an insurance plan for which they qualify. We encourage all students to have health insurance for unexpected illnesses or injuries.
Dental Services
Although ENMU Health Services does not offer dental services at the location on campus, dental services are available for students, faculty, and staff off campus at La Casa ENMU Student Health Services. Dental services are not covered by ENMU.
Sliding Fee Scale
La Casa offers a sliding fee scale to those who do not have insurance. The fee is based on income and household size and may be as little as $20 per office visit.
